When can we arrive?

Is self-catering possible in the hostel?
Unfortunately, self-catering is not possible in our group accommodation. However, there are numerous restaurants and supply options in the immediate vicinity. We also pamper our guest groups with half board. For larger groups of 20 people or more, we also offer full board. Please feel free to email us at info@hostel-bergblick.de if you are interested.
What activities are available for groups?
We offer pupils some possible activities such as night hike, forest adventure tour, studio in the green. There are also many other sporting and cultural activities that you can experience in the region around Lake Kochel. Is there a sports hall or football pitch in the group accommodation?

What is the all-round carefree package?
With the all-round carefree packages, we offer teachers and organisers of various school and youth hostel excursions an attractive and varied programme. Conceived directly by the local Berg Blick team, the group will not miss any insider tip or attraction at Lake Kochelsee and in the surrounding area.
This way, the teachers and also the group have stress-free planning before arrival, which sets the mood for a relaxing time at Berg Blick Hostel. In addition, the Berg Blick Hostel offers healthy dinners with local ingredients for groups of 22 people or more.

What are the current Corona regulations
Due to the current COVID-19 situation we have to inform you about the following:
- In our house, the 2G rule applies. Please remember to show a valid vaccination certificate or convalescence certificate at check-in.
- Excluded from visiting accommodation establishments or tourist accommodation:
- Persons with confirmed SARS-CoV2 infection
- Persons with contact with COVID-19 cases in the last 14 days or otherwise subject to quarantine measures.
- Individuals with COVID-19 associated symptoms (acute, non-specific general symptoms, fever, loss of smell and taste, respiratory symptoms of any severity.
In our house, FFP2 masks are compulsory for guests over the age of 15 in all rooms used in common. In addition, the general contact restriction and keeping a minimum distance of 1.5 metres applies.

What are the check-in times?
Our reception is open from 17:00 and 19:00. Please ensure you arrive at this time as we are required to take your details and issue you with your guest card. You are also welcome to store your luggage earlier in our luggage room behind the house.
What is the check-in procedure?
On arrival, a Corona rapid test with certificate, which is not older than 24 hours, must be presented. Excluded from this are fully vaccinated persons with a vaccination card or convalescent persons with a certificate.
When is the check-out?
Departure is possible until 10 am. Please return the key to the key safe. Please make sure to turn off the heating, close the windows and leave the room swept clean.
Is there parking on site and what are the costs?
The main entrance is behind the house. There are some parking spaces available there free of charge. If these are occupied, you can also park opposite!
Is there a luggage storage room?
If you arrive earlier, you can leave your luggage in our luggage room. The luggage room is located behind the house. The code is available on request.
Where can I have a good breakfast?
In our village café you have the possibility to have a delicious breakfast on Saturdays & Sundays from 8:00 am.
If you would like to have breakfast or dinner with us as a group, it would be helpful for us if you reserve a table the day before and let us know your choice. Click here to book in advance.
Is free wifi available?
Yes, we offer our guests free wifi!
Can I bring my pet to the hostel?
Pets are also welcome at the hostel for a small fee!
Are there bed linen and towels in the hostel?
We provide our guests with sheets and bed linen free of charge. Due to the favourable price, the beds have to be made up by our guests themselves. You will find the towels in the shared bathroom on the wooden shelf. We charge € 1.90 per towel. Please put the money in an envelope in our mailbox. We also ask our guests to leave the towels on the bed when checking out.
Do I need a lock for the lockers?
The lockers in our dormitory have locks.
Can I also use my own sleeping bag?
Yes, it is possible to use your own sleeping bag.
What activities are there on site?
Our hotel is located in the beautiful region around the Walchensee. There are some beautiful mountain walks and outdoor activities there. In addition, the Kochelsee and Walchensee lakes invite you to swim on sunny days. You can find more inspiration on our website under Moments.

What are the conditions of participation in a competition?
